4- and 5-year-old Kindergarten

If your child will be 4 or 5 years old by September 30 . . .

• Get the required documents ready – see below.
• Contact your school to make your registration appointment with the school’s secretary who will assist you with the process.
• Stay tuned for more information from your school in the coming weeks/months, and welcome to the NFSB family!

What you’ll need to register

• Your child’s long-form birth certificate with parents’ names.
• Proof of Canadian Citizenship of the parent who will render your child eligible for English school (valid passport or birth certificate).
• To make things as easy as possible – and if you have it – bring along the certificate of eligibility of the parent (or sibling) who will render your child eligible.
• Proof that you live within the school zone you are registering with.

Welcome! Here are some easy steps to follow to register your child in one of our elementary or high schools.

What you’ll need to register

Already an NFSB Family?

Good news! No more long paper registration forms to fill out! (lost in the bottom of a school bag and found in April, anyone?) 

The re-registration period will run from February 1 or March 9, 2023. You will receive a notification through your Parent Portal account

What you need to do

You will receive an email notification that your child’s electronic “re-enrollment” form is available in your Parent Portal account.
